We are using Google in a variety of ways K-12! We launched a new curriculum this year in our Middle School which includes Google Drive and Google Apps for all students 6-8. Learn more about their curriculum and how other subject area teachers are using it in the middle school including Social Studies, Science and ELA to name a few. Our elementary teachers have replaced "old" ways with Google Docs and Presentations. We will share some of their work as well.
In our high school, Google Communities are spreading faster than we expected. We will share how teachers are using Communities and Plus in the classroom to make their class expand into 24/7 learning and sharing. We will show examples from ESL, French, English, and Chemistry to name a few. The success in the High School is also due to our implementation of Chromebooks, and a BYOD initiative which allows students to use their existing phones and tablets.
